The Digital Rework Station & Temperature Controlled Soldering Iron can be used to solder and desolder surface mount components and integrated circuits, including leadless ICs such as QFN devices. Check out the tutorials at SparkFun.
This unit incorporates four LCDs to show temperature settings. It also has a radial dial to adjust the airflow. The temperature control of the Rework Station is totally independant from the soldering iron. Both have temperature ranges of 160 - 480 degrees C. The airflow rate of the rework station has a maximum of 24L/min. There is also a button to select Celsius or Fahrenheit.
