The PRO Digital Soldering Station has temperature sensing regulation so the temperature is accurate. Fast heating also saves you time and there is a safe temperature 200 degree timeout, that reduces the iron temperature to 200 degrees if the iron has been left for a long time. When you pick up the iron it automatically heats back up to your desired temperature ready to use within seconds. 

There is no guesswork in knowing the temperature with this unit as it incorporates two LCDs to show temperature settings with one LCD showing the Current Temperature and the other showing the Set temperature. This way you can tell if it is still heating up (or cooling down) to your desired temperature. The temperature range is fantastic at 160 - 480 degrees C and there are powerful tips available for heavy soldering and knife cutting applications. There is also a button to select Celsius or Fahrenheit.
